This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to cancellations and refunds for donations, events, courses, and other contributions made through our platform.
1. Donations
Non-refundable: All donations made to Award Trust are non-refundable. Once a donation is made, it is considered a contribution to our charitable activities and cannot be returned.
Exceptions: In the rare event that a donation is made in error or due to technical issues, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction. We will review the situation on a case-by-case basis, and if necessary, process a refund according to the payment method used.
2. Event Registrations / Courses
Event Registration: If you have registered for an event or course and wish to cancel your participation, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event or course will be eligible for a refund, minus any administrative fees.
No Refunds for Last-Minute Cancellations: If you cancel your participation less than 7 days before the event or course, we may not be able to offer a refund. Please contact us to discuss any specific circumstances that may apply.
Transfers: If you cannot attend an event or course you registered for, we may allow you to transfer your registration to another person or reschedule to a future date, depending on the availability and event guidelines. Please reach out to us to inquire about transfer options.
3. Refund Process
Refund Requests: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to award1993@gmail.com, and we will process the request in accordance with the terms mentioned above.
Processing Time: Once your refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 7 to 14 business days, depending on the payment method used. Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for the initial donation or registration.
Administrative Fees: In the case of event or course cancellations, we may deduct a small administrative fee from the refunded amount to cover processing costs. These fees will be communicated in advance.
4. Tax-Deductible Donations
Donations to Award Trust may be tax-deductible under Indian tax laws. However, please note that refunds on donations do not impact the tax deductions previously granted for the year in which the donation was made. Please consult a tax advisor for more details regarding tax implications.
5. Exceptions
Fundraising Campaigns: Donations made as part of specific fundraising campaigns may have their own terms and conditions. Please refer to the specific campaign for any exceptions or special cancellation rules.
