- Promoting Awareness and Education: Education plays a crucial role in AIDS control. Raising awareness about HIV transmission, prevention methods, and treatment options helps dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding the virus.

- Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT): Pregnant women with HIV can pass the virus to their infants during childbirth or breastfeeding. PMTCT programs focus on providing antiretroviral drugs to pregnant women to reduce the risk of transmission to their babies.
